EHF is hiring for an exceptional leader in business development and strategic alliances to join our passionate team! Our focus is on supporting visionary entrepreneurial leaders in New Zealand, to create positive global impact. We are looking for a values-aligned experienced leader who is excited to help build and grow an important arm of a purposeful organisation.

What you will do:

  • Forge strategic long-term partnerships and alliances to take EHF to its next level
  • Manage and scale the EHF Catalyst partnerships with businesses in NZ and overseas
  • Manage key relationships with central and regional government partners
  • Responsible for revenue generation
  • Represent EHF and our mission in strategic meetings and events

What we are looking for:

  • The ability to represent EHF’s mission and values to the wider community
  • Proven experience in business development, building and managing long-term strategic alliances
  • An analytical and disciplined approach to achieving clear results
  • A motivation to create positive impact in New Zealand and the world by leveraging the tools of entrepreneurship
  • Excitement to roll up your sleeve and join a startup to build a key part of the EHF organisation
  • Capacity to balance strategic development with hands-on work
  • Intellectual curiosity to engage with the diverse group of EHF Fellows, their projects, and global impact
  • Experience in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and a background in building strong operational processes
  • Experience working with top-tier global organisations
  • An understanding of how the NZ government works, and experience building and managing relationships with government officials
  • Existing relationships with organisations that will find EHF’s work relevant and can be potential partners in supporting our Fellows
  • Excitement to join a mission-driven team determined to create impact and well-being in NZ and the world

Details:

  • 12-month contract, with a path towards a permanent arrangement.
  • Potential for starting part-time
  • Flexible working arrangements, including work from home
  • Include occasional local travel, with possible international travel
  • Ideally Wellington-based, but open for someone based in other parts of New Zealand
  • Able to legally work in New Zealand
